THE REAL DANGER

The absolute most dangerous state of consciousness in the world is the notion of being “right” — especially when we are right in a specific situation. Why is this so dangerous? Because when we are genuinely right in an argument we can now justify our anger, our frustration, our intolerance and all of our emotional reactions in regards to the other person’s costly mistakes.

And that is how we DELAY the redemption of the world.

For some reason we fail to grasp one vital Kabbalistic truth: This world is not about right and wrong. This world is only about finding and uprooting our own egocentric responses, anger, frustration and reaction to the circumstances that play out before our eyes.

Why?

All of these emotions are the Opponent, the force called Satan. We came to this world to beat him.  To overthrow this reactive consciousness. That’s it. We did not come this world to be smart, right, clever, wise, and brilliant. We spend our lives in grade school, high school, college and we develop ourselves intellectually, we learn trades, we become more knowledgable about life and our careers. But we do not learn the meaning of life which is why we suffer. The meaning of life is finding negative consciousness. That’s it. Repeat this over and over. The quicker we get this message, the quicker we bring about the transformation of the world an unending happiness, pleasure and delight.

When we are good frame of mind, when we behave nicely towards others, when we are right in our situations and find a solution, we do not create darkness, but we ALSO do not create Light. That’s right, our positive behavior does not create Light in this world.

Light is ONLY created when we find our inner ego, our inner demons, our inner negative reactions to life. When we find those nasty traits, and we admit them and strive to over come them, THEN, and only THEN, does a ray of Light shine into the world.

The force called Satan will MAKE US RIGHT in an argument by putting someone else’s mistakes—especially our friends and enemies—in our face so that we can go on and on and on about how right we are and how wrong they are, all in the name of a good cause, all in the same of doing something positive for the world. But it’s an absolute waste of time. Because we must only focus on looking inward NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION.

This is the only reason why we have not brought the redemption yet. This is why 24,000 of Rabbi Akiva’s students were slaughtered. They were brilliant students of Kabbalah—true geniuses—but they forgot that the only war is the one inside our head.

Never, but never is it about being right.

Never is it about the other person.

This is why Rav Berg says the way to transform our lives and achieve a personal state of Messiah within, is to become the absolute cause of all the chaos we see.

To be the cause, no matter what—especially in those moments, when we are right. If that other person is dead wrong, it is STILL our fault.

Not easy.

But the rewards for this kind of “cause consciousness” is beyond measure.

Hi Luis, I’m a student, as you, we don’t need to be ‘right’ or ‘wrong’, we only need to be connected with the Light and the people of the world, as Rav Akiva, and Jesus, and all the Kabbalist’s says: “Love your neighbor as yourself”.
We only can change the world if we change ourselves.

      Love & Blessings.

  2. I HAVE A QUESTION. It is regarding the use of the word I placed in all caps from your post…

You wrote: “The meaning of life is FINDING negative consciousness. That’s it. Repeat this over and over. The quicker we get this message, the quicker we bring about the transformation of the world an unending happiness, pleasure and delight.”

Would not the correct word be: FIGHTING??
So FIGHTING Negative Consciousness is n’t our work, verses FINDING it??

    Please advise. 😉
    Thank you for this post.

The Rav Ashlag says that the more important thing in our spiritual work is FIND our ego, our negative consciousness. Only when I find, I can see and FIGHT with it.
So, Rav Ashlag says that when we FIND we receive the support to FIGHT and that is it.
