A SECRET ABOUT CERTAINTY
We have been taught for years, as students of the Kabbalah Centre, that the ultimate purpose of the tools and technology of Kabbalah are about helping us achieve total certainty. With certainty, we are told, we can achieve the elusive dream of mind over matter. This is something that if ever anyone paid attention to they would see they have the power of certainty. We have certainty in our problems and that there is no solution, we have certainty that we wont grow, that we cant be better, that there is no solution, that we have no power, then we turn and use those same events as proof that we have no power. But what have we just done? We “predicted” the future, or more accurately we have created the future without realizing that same prediction for the good would have come to fruition. Until we realize who we are and what we control we will still control the world but we will lead it into darkness.
Right now, I feel like the greatest thing the tools have allowed me to achieve is finding a real friend. With a friend whom I can spiritually grow with, it makes the tools that much more powerful; it deepens my certainty.
I don’t think there’s a greater blessing than friendship. I feel like having a true friend is a million times more fulfilling than even meeting your true soulmate. Is this correct? Right now, I feel that friendship should be all of our #1 objective, just based on how much it has allowed me to grow.
On a practical level, how does one counter balance the negative thoughts? For example, you set out to sell a house and you do your best to make it sellable. The negative nuisance voice is saying, “It won’t sell for that price” or “It’s going to take forever to sell”. Your positive voice says, “What ever happens, we’ll work with it, we’ll make adjustments and we will sell it.” In conversations with The Rav, he made us aware that we’ve already acquiesced to the opponent, just by saying, “We’ll work with it” (In this seemingly positive comment we’ve already accepted doubt) (For the moment, it appeased/quieted the opponent’s murmuring voice.) Using this example, what thoughts, that promote certainty, should we be thinking of instead?
Everything we experience outside as been attracted by us and we only need to change our consciousness from victim and be accountable for our action, hence we use Kabbalah tools to purify our self and the world. Thanks
