TURKISH MAFIA: THE ZOHAR STORY PART TWO
Below is Part Two of the Mafia miracle story from Shimon Sarfatti and Terry Aboujedid.
A few months after the incident with Moshe and the Arab mafia guy (see Mafia article), my brother calls me on the phone. “Terry can you come to the office now,” he said. There was tension in his voice. I asked why. He said someone was at his office and he needed me there right now. That was all he would say. I knew there was a problem so I went.
When I arrived there was this huge guy standing in the office. Wearing a long coat. This man came to our office demanding money back for his boss. My brother had no idea what he was talking about. The guy asked to have $70,000 Euros repaid. Then he gives my brother a copy of a check that was not processed by the bank. Then I realized what happened. Two weeks before, our bank called and said a check for $5000 Euros was presented at the bank from my account. But the bank manager didn’t recognize the signature. It wasn’t my signature and it wasn’t my brother’s. I had told the bank that we never wrote that check.
The bank looked into it and we found out we lost three checks. One check had cleared for $5000 Euros. A second check was paid for $5000 Euros. But when a check came for $70,000 Euros, the bank had refused to pay it. Okay, so now it’s two weeks later, and we have not heard a word back from the bank. And now, two weeks later, this huge guy is in our office with copy of the check and he wants it paid.
I explained to him that we never wrote the check and we cannot pay it. Then he said, “You don’t want to pay?” I said, “I cannot afford to pay. Please, let me meet your boss.” He smiled. He said, “You want to meet my boss? Okay.” He said he will arrange for me to meet him later that evening.”
It was the Turkish mafia.
I called my lawyer. Of course, my lawyer said, there is no way I could go meet him. So I called the guy back and said I could not make it and that I didn’t want to talk with him anymore. He said, “Okay, let’s see what happens.” He hangs up the phone. Now we were really afraid.
Next morning, the guy Moshe called me — Moshe, from the story I told before. Moshe said to me, “What is your problem with the Turkish mob?” I said, “I don’t have problem.” Moshe said that I did. The Turkish boss had called Moshe and gave him the contract to collect the payment. The contract was sent to Moshe! So Moshe sees my name on it and says to the Turkish boss, “Are you crazy? This is my family! Do not touch this guy.”
It was miracle. Of all the people they call, they called him.
It gets crazier. The next day, the boss from the Arab mafia called me. The one who had the Zohar and became friends with Moshe. He said to me, “You have a problem with the Turks!” Then he said they had called him to put someone on this to collect the money. So the Arab boss also said, “This is my family, don’t touch this guy.”
It was finally over.
The two guys I had given the two Zohars to were the ones who were called. I then realized, I didn’t do them any favors when I gave them each a Zohar.
It was for me.
When you give a Zohar to someone, you’re really helping yourself!
I spoke with Moshe a few weeks ago, just before Passover of this year (2011). It was the first time we had spoken in about two years. He called to see how I was doing. He told me he is sharing Zohars with lots of people.
