THE POWER AND CUNNING OF THE OPPONENT
The year was 1991. I was still living in Toronto and I was driving to the airport with the Rav (Kabbalist Rav Berg) who was flying back to New York. We were sitting together in the back seat of the car. Back in those days I was either on the phone with the Rav a few a hours a day, or the Rav and Karen were visiting Toronto and I would spend hours with the Rav in my office or I was in New York visiting at the Rav and Karen’s house. So much wisdom was given to me during those early years.
Anyway, on this one particular day in Toronto the Rav had told me something so simple, and yet so powerful, that I never forgot it. I quote it over and over again to my family and friends.
It was about the Opponent, the Adversary—both the internal ego and the global force. First, let’s remember that the Opponent battles us within to make us reactive, and each time we react, we transfer Light and power to the global force called the Opponent. The internal opponent wreaks havoc in our personal life and the global force ignites chaos around the world on a global scale.
On the way to the airport the Rav was talking to me about World War ll and the true cause and underlying reason why so much death, darkness and destruction had taken place. That, in itself, was stunningly provocative, eye-opening and paradigm-changing.
But then the Rav told me a simple truth: The Rav said the Opponent even let us win World War ll, just to keep us under his influence. This way, we would never probe to the painful root cause behind the darkness and thus, it will happen again, in some other fashion, so that our cunning, devious Adversary can keep his game of chaos running continuously.
The Opponent will even let us win the war.
Wow.

No that’s a corruption of the faith in God. The opponent is the weaker of the two and does not dominate or control God. WWII was won so we could stay alive a work Gods’s will. Because you are the vehicle of hope for bringing heaven on earth.
No that’s incorrect and simple. ‘ God’ has nothing to do with winning or losing WW2. Chaos was brought to this existence in order for there to be opportunity for salvation ie for evolution the process to continue. Prior to the biting of the apple nothing could be saved out of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The king …mercy…entered to avoid the merciless judgement we all faced. World war 2 wasnt needed by god to continue his work.
