IMMORTALITY — REALLY?

The secret of immortality will not come from Ponce de León who tried to discover the fountain of youth by sailing the seven seas in search of this mythological source of water; it will come from Moses de León who discovered the Zohar after 1200 years of concealment.

The secret of biological immortal existence is hidden in the Zohar and revealed in Kabbalist Rav Berg’s book entitled, Nano.

Here’s one profound secret I can share. Scientists are suddenly looking for the secret to biological immortality. The subject of immortal existence and life extension has appeared on the cover of Time Magazine,  it’s been written about in books and articles published on important websites featuring the latest discoveries from the world of physics and medical-science.

This subject matter,  once tabooed by science, is now a hot topic and some scientists, like Ray Kurzweil, estimate biological immortal existence will be achieved by humankind within the next fifty years.

Here’s some advice from Kabbalist Rav Berg. Stop looking for the secret of immortality.

It already exists.

Atoms are immortal and we are made of atoms.

That’s right, our atoms, the very building blocks of our being, are never-ending, eternal and immortal.

“Atoms are the one part of the Universe that live forever.”

—Dr. Peter Douglas Ward

(Professor of Geological Science, University of Washington)

“When we die our atoms will disassemble and move off to find new uses elsewhere — as part of a leaf or other human being or drop of dew. Atoms, however, go on practically forever.”

—Bill Bryson

(A Short History of Everything)

“Atoms do live essentially forever. The hydrogen in a glass of water is over 13 billion years old. Atoms are immortal in the sense that they outlive everything.  Most of the atoms in the universe were made in the big bang.  Ones heavier than helium were made inside stars.”

—Dr. Donald Brownlee

(Professor of Astronomy, University of Washington)

“No living creature is immortal, but atoms never “die.” Instead, they exist ad infinitum as solitary atoms, or as components of a single molecule, or they shuttle between countless molecules over vast eons of time.

—Professor Robert J. Brooker

“Molecules can be converted and decomposed by chemical processes; but atoms are forever. In a chemical reaction, matter—at the level of individual atoms—is always accounted for.”

— The American Chemical Society

So what’s the problem? Why are the graveyards overrun with bodies of loved ones and people of generations long past?

The problem and the cause of death lies within the “space” that comes in between our immortal atoms. This space breaks their bonds, causing the forms that atoms produce to disappear (death). You see, though atoms are immortal and forever, the forms that atoms produce are temporary. The forms die off, but the individual building blocks live on and on and on.

The key to immortal existence is not in learning how to keep at atom eternal. It already is. The key is understanding how to keep the same form (body) together forever. Because if the form remains, it will last forever because the very parts of the form are already immortal.

So the secret to biological immortality is about relationships and bonds between the immortal building blocks.

Which leads to the question: How do you keep the forms together?

We achieve that  by preventing space from coming in between our atoms. Space is what allows a picture puzzle to come apart and spread out in total chaos. Remove space and the puzzle comes together again.

Let’s examine this idea of space a bit deeper.

Science is now catching up to Kabbalah by realizing that all reality is made up of consciousness. Even atoms are composed of “particles” or “waves” of consciousness. Einstein himself, was perplexed by the idea that an electron could be both a particle and a wave. But that this wave is actually a wave of consciousness, this truth has not yet been universally accepted or understood. Only a handful of physicists, albeit, the smartest ones of the twentieth century, were able to have the courage and insight to embrace this truth.

This is the missing puzzle piece  in physics which will lead to a Grand Unified Theory.

The very founders of quantum physics, scientists like Sir Arthur Eddington, Max Planck and others, were convinced that consciousness was true reality and that all matter actually emerged from consciousness.

“I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness.”

—Physicist Max Planck

“The universe is of the nature of a thought or sensation in a universal Mind…The stuff of the world is mind-stuff”

—Physicist Sir Arthur Eddington

‘The universe looks more and more like a great thought rather than a great machine.”

—Physicist Sir James Jeans

The physical universe is a great thought according to the Zohar. It’s called the Thought of Creation, and it means the Divine Mind, the very Consciousness of the Creator, permeates all reality like waves upon the sea. This is exactly what the Zohar says! And this is exactly what science also tells us about the true nature of electrons, photons and all matter. Matter is not just made up of tiny subatomic particles — like miniature ping pong balls in orbit.  Matter also has profound wave-like properties that extend across the universe. That’s right, physics now tells us that all matter is also made up of waves. Electrons are waves. Photons are waves.  And they have no idea why this is so, or what it means, or why those waves feel like solid matter according to our five senses.

Kabbalah does.

These waves are waves of consciousness. They are the brain waves of God Himself, bringing forth into existence the entire cosmos.

The only thing we human beings have to do to attain immortal existence and realize the full potential of the Thought of Creation — which is only about infinite pleasure and paradise for mankind — is to bring our own wave of consciousness to this world by building relationships with our fellow-man in this sea of humanity called planet earth.

Space is actually a form of consciousness. Space is the reason why our atoms stop bonding.  Space is what separates them and what allows them to remain separated.

What kind of consciousness is space?

Ego.

Ego is the culprit and killer of man.

As we transform selfish, egocentric consciousness into one that respects, cares for and embraces our friends and so-called enemies,  building bonds with our fellow-man, that’s when our eternal atoms will remain bonded together.

As our consciousness behaves, so behaves our atoms, and the state of the world.

Ego consciousness, which creates a space between us and the next person, automatically creates space between the atoms in our body, causing aging and decay. This is why Kabbalist Rav Berg says,  “It’s all about consciousness.”

This is what we have to realize.

The purpose of Kabbalah is to transform our consciousness and remove self-interest so that we can love forever and therefore live forever.

It’s that simple.

But it’s not easy.

I think it is easy for people whose nature is caring for others but a lot of people has the selfish nature (by birth).

    • the more selfish we are, the greater our transformation and thus the greater amount of Light we bring into this world. If its easy to share, its not sharing. Sharing means overcoming selfishness first and diving into our uncomfortable zone in order to share.

    Dear Billy,

I just recently was introduced to your website by David Shaal, my first Kabbalah Teacher. I have been studying Kabbalah for a little over 3 years, and as a physician, I am fascinated by your scientific connections to Kabbalah. Your life story and insight is an inspiration to me, and I look forward to continuing to learn from you. When will you be in Chicago again?

    Wow it really sounds simple
But how we control this space
    Which is called Ego
Thanks to the tools it’s better but I
would love to get rid of Ego
    Thanks

Billy, I have a question. You are familiar with Rav Shaul? It would seem that he was Kabbalist as well, but what would you say to his statement to the Messianic Jews that it is appointed unto men ONCE to DIE, then judgement? I read about your Rav who said he was Rabad. Once to die to ego, then Messiah will judge? I agree with this movement, that we are one in Messiah now and when the critical mass reaches the point of Messiah’ s return it will all be by Messiah’s doing. I’m just confused about what seems like a reincarnation by your Rav.

  6. Now if you could affiliate yourself with one of three following sides; Positivity,(the first force of your consciousness) Negativity,(the second force of your mind/consciousness and child of Positivity) third and lastly, Balance, the third the culmination of everything. The third and last consciousness. The determined failure whom ignorant, but ironically the most powerful. Now, what side do you choose? (Don’t forget to rationalize)

Billy, may I ask you a question? Rav Berg, one of the greater Kabbalists of our time, passed away almost a year ago, and I was wondering: what is the Kabbalistic explanation for his death when thinking along the lines of physical immortality? I have read in other Kabbalistic sources such as Chabad that true immortality is that of the soul, not the body, and death serves as passage of the soul from our material world to another (or maybe the soul will reincarnate, depending on the individual) and is not something to be feared. Your piece seemed to be about physical immortality, which is what has me confused, and I would greatly appreciate some clarification.

    • Of course the soul is immortal. But the Zohar and all Kabbalists of history are clear — the Messiah and Redemption means 1000 years of physical, biological immortal existence for the body as a reward for allowing the soul to transform. In the spiritual realm, opposites repel. So the Will to Share (Light of Creator) with the Vessel’s Desire to Receive repelled and were separated which gave birth to our physical world. in the physical realm, you can attach the two opposite consciousness, of sharing and receiving, the same way you can put two opposites poles — positive (+) and negative (-) on a magnet. So the body has both, Desire to Receive (-) and the soul’s will to share (+). The body allows us to transform its receiving egocentric impulses into actions of sharing with others. There is no other way to attach the two opposite forces of consciousness. Hence, the body gets a reward for allowing the soul to transform. We need a critical mass of people who make this transformation to ignite the resurrection of the dead and the arrival of immortal existence. The purpose of life is to completely nullify the body consciousness of ego and receiving. Once we do that, and the ego has zero influence over the body and soul, we can now receive the totality of Light. However, there MUST be a desire for receive Light in order to draw it into this world. Now that the ego is “dead” and the bodies of humanity throughout history are dead, we now need to reactivate Desire in order to draw the Light of immortality and paradise. THIS is why there is resurrection of the dead. Its the reawakening of Desire. However, now that we have taken 100 percent control over our ego, we will use that Desire for the SOLE purpose of sharing with others. And billions of people will be sharing with us.

  8. Tree of Life says:

Great Article – We are God, we always have been, we always will be…
Genesis 3:22 – The “Tree of Knowledge” gave us the mind of God.
The “Tree of Life” will make us immortal… coming soon to a garden near you….

  9. Josh says:

    Hi Billy,
If this is the case why aren’t plants and tree’s immortal? It can’t because of ego. Can you explain this? Is there a reason for this?

    • The Kabbalists explain that the plant and animal kingdoms are here solely for the benefit of humankind. Our behavior influences all the kingdoms. Rav Ashlag teaches one animal has a larger vessel than all the plant kingdoms combined. And one man has a larger vessel than all the animal and plant kingdoms combined. It is our behavior that influences this entire realm of Malchut, which is a realm of death and this is why there is a life cycle. However, water, which is the closest substance to the Light force of God is immortal. When you drink water its a billion year old beverage you are drinking. Also a man’s seed and a women’s egg is also the closest substance on earth to the Light force. They are made of germinal cells which are immortal whereas the rest of our body is made up of somatic cells, which always die off. So the Kabbalists teach that immortality went into the reproductive organs of man and that is why the chain of human existence is immortal, where each man contributes to the chain, but the individual is not immortal. When we transform our nature, then immortality will rise out of our reproductive organs and fill all this physical world with the Light and power of Immortality.

However, plants, animals and mankind are made of atoms and atoms are immortal. So immortality is still here. It is the form that atoms create that are not immortal.

    • Josh says:

thanks Billy thanks for your response
