A RANT ON LAG B’ OMER

  • Sinai pic

Tonight and tomorrow we unleash the power of Kabbalist Rav Shimon bar Yochai and Lag B’ Omer. Here are few hard truths from the Zohar. This will be blunt. Hard. Direct. The way the Rav was! No one in history embodies the Zohar and Rav Shimon bar Yohai than Kabbalist Rav Berg. No one!

Ready for the rant?

Here we go:

Telling people to love others wont’ bring world peace and it absolutely will not bring about the Messiah. The love message has failed for 2000 years, in case you haven’t noticed.

So stop!

Stop preaching love.

Stop preaching kindness.

Instead, let’s start admitting our negative traits and finding the ugly selfish aspects of our nature. As we find them, admit them and hopefully remove them, love flows naturally. Get it? That’s the secret. And it’s not an all or nothing proposition. In other words, admitting our selfishness is 90% of the battle. The harder it is to admit, the greater the love flows between us and others.

Once a person begins to get that ego out-of-the-way, love is the natural flowing effect. We can only share what we have. If we have ego, we can’t love truly & unconditionally. What we call love is not true love. It’s need. It’s all about we receive and not what we give.

Kabbalah’s tools strike the ego. That’s why this path is so darn difficult. But the result of those who have the guts and madness to walk it, the result will be love for others. True love. Authentic love. And then you will be connected and protected.

It’s so easy to say I love you and wish peace etc. It’s so easy to say we should all just care for one another and get along. But how the hell are we supposed to get there when the ego dominates our consciousness and we don’t even know it?

We actually believe that our egocentric desires are pure and real and good for everyone else’s benefit. Baloney. The only way to heaven is to go through hell. The ego is hell. Specifically, the act of finding it, and admitting it. Boy is it hell. But it leads to heaven. Make no mistake.

And this is what Kabbalah achieves. It removes the egocentric blockages that prevent us from loving others naturally. True love can only occur when the ego is transformed. People hate losing their ego. It’s easier to belong to a spiritual group that preaches love, kindness and tolerance. Much harder to walk a path that focuses on ego and uproots those painful blockages of self-centeredness which prevent us from loving, being kind and having tolerance in the first place.

This is why the Zohar, the Kabbalists and even Jesus preached repentance. Repentance, according the Zohar, means digging up our egocentric traits that have caused us to be unkind, uncaring and selfish in the first place, and then totally transforming our nature. The result will be Love Thy Neighbor once we finish the job of transforming. The word repentance has been totally corrupted. The word repentance means to return. It means to return this world back into the 99% reality and the only thing separating us as individuals, and the world at large, from connecting is consciousness that is under the rule and influence of the ego.

If enough people in the world started laying their egocentric traits on the table, exposing their faults, revealing their flaws, instead of just clapping and singing and praising God, we would change the world in about 5 minutes flat. Praising God means to expose the blockages (selfishness, negative character traits, everything we are ashamed of) and putting them out there unconditionally. Praising God means never blaming anyone but ourselves for anything. Period. When we become the cause of all our misfortune, we can now become the cause of a total solution. Praising God means accepting criticism especially if it stings our ego like a wasp and bee. Because once all the blockages and the things we hide are exposed, there is no more hiding place for the Light of the Creator. The Light hides behind the ego. Once you expose the hiding place, the Light shines. Talk about an act that “praises God”!

If we wanna talk about the immediate redemption of the world and the arrival of the Messiah through the power of Zohar, Rav Shimon bar Yohai and Lag B’ Omer, we must immediately end the excuses we make to protect our ego. Let’s end that charade now. That world did not work. Instead, let us all search inward and start exposing our faults, our ego, our crimes and our misdemeanors. Let’s conquer the fear and shame we have about doing just that and realize, if we do it proactively, even just a little bit, the Light of Mercy will be awakened and through the Zohar, we will change with kindness instead of judgment. It will hurt, it will sting, but will also lead us to a new world of peace and miracles.

Make no mistake, Lag B’ Omer radiates the same raw naked energy, power and Light as Mount Sinai, when the world experienced immortality!

Lag B’ Omer is the day when Rabbi Akiva transmitted the secrets of Kabbalah to Rabbi Shimon.

Lag B’ Omer is the day Rabbi Shimon came out of the cave infused with the Light of Zohar.

Lag B’ Omer is the Light of the Zohar, the Light called the Or Ganuz (Hidden Light) which is the energy that glimmered across the world during Mount Sinai banishing death and darkness from the landscape of human existence.

During Mount Sinai, as we were on the verge of permanent immortal existence, our egos tricked us into building the Golden Calf and we lost paradise.

On this awesome day, we can now repair that sin because the full power of Sinai and Shavuot, according to Rav Berg, is now illuminating planet earth.

Let the old world and way of doing things come to an end.

Let us start living the true teachings of the Zohar, Rav Shimon Bar Yochai, and Jesus—the man sent to the gentile world to bring them the true wisdom of Zohar—so we can achieve peace on earth and the end of death in our lifetime.

Admit some ego. Even just a little.

Find some selfishness and change it. Even if just a little.

If enough people contribute, the world will transform before our eyes.
