CONQUERING SPACE
A few years ago I was asked to give a lecture on Shabbat that corresponded to the Torah portion called Vayigash. A year later I was asked again to share another lecture. The lecture that I shared was on the Torah portion called Vayechi. Even though it was a random request that happened a year later, this particular Torah portion is the one that immediately followed Vayigash.
What a coincidence!
I ended up sharing back-to-back Torah portions over the course of one year. Not only that, and even more amazing to me, was that these two portions have zero space between them in the parchment of the Torah Scroll.
Every Torah portion always has a space in the parchment, like a chapter break, leading to the next week’s Torah reading.
But not the Portions known as Vayigash and Vayechi. They are not separated by space. It looks like one long Torah reading even though they are separated into two weeks.
So in the space of one year, I was giving these two different lectures that just happened to be back-to-back Torah readings, but with zero space between them.
The lesson for me was, though the two lectures took place 12 months apart, there really is no space in true reality. Space is an illusion of our own senses as we will discover in the lectures.
The power to remove space is given to us through these two Torah readings.
What that means and how it can transform our lives, and this world, is explained in the two lectures.
What I found even more fascinating is that this idea of zero space and removing space from our lives, is one of the most profound teachings that Kabbalist Rav Berg revealed before leaving this physical reality. And that is what the Torah portions were all about from the Kabbalistic standpoint.
Below are the two lectures I shared on the Rav’s teachings for these two Torah portions.
The first one below is Vayechi, which corresponds to this coming week.
The lecture below that one is the Torah portion from last week, in case you missed it.
FREE webinar with Billy Phillips
In this free webinar, Billy shares some powerful insights about Jesus and the Messiah riding a Donkey and why the secret teachings of Jesus are coming out at this point in history. He also reveals a startling redacted section of Zohar that was taken out back in the middle ages.
Thanks.
Beautiful Billy…thanks!
