Trump, Putin, Netanyahu, Bashar Al-Assad, and every leader now——and throughout history——are merely the effect, and not the cause of history. That includes the most negative leaders like Hitler, Stalin, Hirohito, and Genghis Kahn. It is the collective consciousness and behavioral actions of the people that are the true cause of all the global events that transpire, from genocide, war, poverty, famine and natural disasters such as earthquakes, droughts, and violent storms.
This is not my view. This is the view of the ancient Zohar.
If a leader has no authentic control, and he/she is just a reflection and an effect of the collective actions and interactions of people, how are we to change the world?
If the majority of humankind is engaged in cheating, robbing, screaming, hurting, killing, steeped in their self-interest, and filled with hatred and animosity, how can we possibly expect our world to change?
If seven billion folks are behaving as bad as can be, how can one single, individual person, trying to change themselves for the better, survive— let alone change the rest of the world?
A deep and brilliant question.
Here is a stunning secret and truth:
The positive and transformative actions of the few far outweigh the negative actions of the many!
First say, “Wow!” because that is good news.
Now, why do the actions of a few dozen people outweigh the bad of billions of people?
Because what truly changes our world is the arc of transformation, which means the degree and the difficulty of our internal change.
The more difficult, the greater the arc of change.
Now follow even more closely:
It’s easy to be negative.
It’s easy to get addicted to drugs and junk food and laziness.
It’s easy get angry and lose our temper. Reacting with ego is as natural as breathing.
It takes monumental effort to be positive and proactive.
It takes superhuman effort to let go of a victim mindset, jealousy and anger.
It takes extraordinary effort not to lose our temper when someone insults, hurts or totally cheats us out of a great deal of money. Or if they slander us.
The degree and difficulty of our transformation is humongous compared to how easy and effortless it is to be reactive, angry, jealousy and full of egocentricity.
So our personal uncomfortable acts of sharing and difficult diminishing of our ego profoundly impact the world.
Ten people truly transforming far outweighs seven billion people succumbing and surrendering to their ego. Whoah! It takes your breath away when you think about it.
And if this were not an absolute universal law, make no mistake, our world would have been blown up already, that’s how much negativity is out there.
It’s the efforts of a few people—like you—that keep the world afloat.
You are saving this world. Right now.
So remember, you dramatically and profoundly impact the entire world all day long, via your behavior.
