EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE

NOVEMBER 22, 2013

Here it is. Bite-size bits of wisdom as profound and deep as they are simple, short and sweet. This is the wisdom of the ages, the oldest wisdom on earth, the wisdom that not only makes one more knowledgeable, but also elevates the soul and our consciousness, which makes us more pure, clear, enlightened and deeply contented.

Here we go:

1. Worse than the lies we tell others are the lies we tell ourselves. Why? Because we believe the lies we tell ourselves.

2. A victim mindset is a prison, a box, that traps us along with all of our problems, from which we can never escape. “Accountability” is our great escape! The moment we become accountable, the door to the jail cell springs open. Accountability is not about morals and ethical behavior. It’s the key that opens the dungeon door.

3. The first letter of Torah is Bet and the last is Lamed, which spells LEV, which means “heart.” The Israelites are the heart of the one body of humanity made up of all the nations and races of mankind. If there is a lack of blood from the heart to the other organs, gangrene or heart attacks can occur. When the Israelites fail to share and pump the spiritual Light to all the nations of the world, a cosmic heart attack takes place. anti-Semitism is merely spiritual gangrene.

4. If you withhold judgment upon your enemies, the universe must withhold all judgments that are due to you. However, withholding judgment is easier said than done. But if we do, we free ourselves from the negative payback, karma and boomerangs that are destined to return and strike us.

See the good in others, stop judging. And watch the mercy flow into your own life.

I agree with all the principles mentioned. However, I find it difficult sometimes to apply the principle of “See the good in others, stop judging. And watch the mercy flow into your own life.”
    I’ll give you an example.
I had a sincere and open conversation with a family member with the intention of healing the scars in our family and creating better bonding.
That man was charming, said he was delighted that I came and that everything would be alright.
I heard complaints about me in the family. That man had gissipt in the family about our conversation and told nasty lieas about what I said and did not say. He made me out to be the evil one and, with his deceiving charm, everybody believes him.
My wife has known that man for more than 60 years and says that he has always been the same.
How can I show love to such an evil person?

    • I never said not judging is easy. i said, Kabbalah teaches us that if we DO stop judging, whatever judgments are due to us, we can avert them. That should be your motivation. You can be right, and then judgments will strike you. Or you can say, who cares if i am right, or if judgment is deserved, i want to protect MYSELF from judgment so i choose not to judge others.
